Writing - inspiration. The value of reviews and critiques.

Last week I posted about attending a book club where the readers had selected and commented on my novel A Suitable Heir. The comments were all positive and that certainly gives me confidence that my writing style and content were on the right track.


But writer's, including me often struggle with confidence, and with good reason. Insecurity can be a blessing when writing. It allows me to constantly hone my work, get edits, receive critiques and review my work until it is the best it can be. When publishing a book or short story it needs to be engaging, easy to read and not have annoying grammar and spelling
